I love this spot. It's one of my favorite little dive bars. The music was great and I enjoyed the pool tables. The bartender is attentive and polite. He right away took our orders for some chardonnay and offered the bottle price instead of glasses. (It was cheaper) he sat and talked with us for a few minutes before carrying on to other customers. Right when we entered the bar the bartender right away greeted us and we took our seats wherever we liked. The place was clean and the music was on and loud but not overly loud. The pool table was a nice addition and there were screens up for the sports games and other channels up... I enjoyed my time and recommend this spot for a little relaxation..

This place is down the street from my office and I always see it on the way to work in the mornings. They have a huge sign that says something along the lines of “best burgers in town,” and being a burger person, I accepted the challenge. They were not joking. The burger was not only huge, it was amazing! The burger was juicy and flavorful . My mouth is literally watering as I write this. The staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating as well. I’ll definitely be back, but as someone watching her waistline, I’m in trouble, because every bite is worth the extra work I’ll need to put in to keep it.

Great place for cheap beer, real people. It’s been the neighborhood dive for years. Low expectations, but the new owners have turned this place around. Great place to watch games. Juan makes delicious cheeseburgers, fries, and the Taco Tuesday special rocks the crne asada. Seems busiest during Trivia Nights.

Currently on location here. Clean property, including the bathroom. Yes, there is an outdoor patio for smokers (as every bar should have, come on, people are drinking!) Grilled cheese amazing Burgers (added cheddar cheese) awesome Other reviews said the owner is the griller - if this is the same guy, he just came to our table and asked how we are doing. A down to Earth place with great service. The food menu is limited, but it's definitely quality over quantity and very reasonably priced. Stop by on Tuesday for 2 for one tacos. I recommend the fish, but they have steak and chicken as well and they are . The bartender's are excellent, and Gary, the manager, is always on point. They have several tv's to capture whatever sport your heart desires. Two pool tables to coax out the inner competitor inside you. Oh, you can get a 24 Oz of Busch beer from tap for around 5 bucks. C'mon now, why you still reading this and not at the tavern yet?

The food here is pretty good, not at all what I expected from a lil tavern. Top quality and, there's always something special being grilled. A great selection of local beers, makes It one of those places I stop by whenever I get the chance. Good vibes and awesome service. Can't beat a friendly environment.

Went there last night after having seen some comments on the next door app about the burger.. man oh man, I wish I had discovered this burger before, 8 years in Long Beach went by having never tried this beauty. I will be back each time I want a DELICIOUS burger, the best I’ve had in this country so far and I am an acclaimed burger expert haha. Highly recommended, also the bar tender was super charming and the bathroom was spotless.. we will go back for Wednesday 9 beer jug.

Get the 49er Burger, treat yourself. Get a couple beers in before finals, it’ll help you focus. Haha Service was great, Shelly is awesome!
